President Trump BACKS Democrats into his WALL

President Trump will get his wall. And despite Democrats playing with the lexicon, it will be called a “wall” and not a “barrier” or a “fence”.

If you haven’t noticed, barrier and fence is what Democrats started calling the wall, so they can say in the future that President Trump didn’t get his “wall”. Also, in the event they need to fund it, they can declare that they never paid for a “wall”.

Such is the political gamesmanship displayed in DC for decades. But what Democrats have never had standing in their way is a man who actually cares about getting things done. Trump actually wants to protect people, and not threaten them with substandard, mandatory health insurance, for example.

For Trump the wall represents two things.

First, it is the foundation for America’s comprehensive immigration.

The wall keeps out drugs, job-stealing illegals, sex-traffickers, and gangs to name a few things. Stopping the influx of these people allows President Trump to address the actual problems that are created. And he has been masterful in doing so.

President Trump proposed legislation that stops fentanyl, and he’s dealing with the opioid crisis. In these two drug-related issues, Trump has done more in two years, than all other presidents combined.

Trump has sent more MS-13 gangbangers home than any president, and his record on stopping human trafficking is second to none.

In effect, Trump addresses the other elements of illegal immigration. But he’s smart enough to know that stemming the flow is tantamount to ultimate success.

Second, the wall represents America’s mascot.

While the mascot doesn’t play the game, he can do much to rally the crowd. The wall has become a rallying cry for citizens battling against the absurdity of “sanctuary” cities and states. Our mascot cheers when illegals are arrested and deported, and recognizes America’s legal immigration system.

No wonder President Trump described his wall as a vital security measure. When you consider the impact of illegals on America, the president certainly has point.

The threat

In a 2008 Harvard study, 14 percent of illegals admitted to voting. Try to imagine what they number is today, given Obama era passivity in dealing with these criminals. Next, ask yourself how many illegals didn’t admit to voting?

As far as I’m concerned, that stat is a matter of national security. When people who have invested nothing can change the politics of a nation by negating the votes of citizens, we have a problem.

President Donald Trump remains firm that parts of the federal government will stay closed until Democrats agree to put up more walls along the U.S.-Mexico border to deter criminal elements.

The president said the wall (or whatever Democrats want to call it) is the only way to stop drugs and human traffickers from entering the country. And President Trump set an interesting timeline for building of the wall: by “election time” in 2020.

“I can’t tell you when the government’s going to be open. I can tell you it’s not going to be open until we have a wall or fence, whatever they’d like to call it,” Trump said, referring to Democrats who staunchly oppose walling off the border.

I’ve discussed that Democrats no longer want to call it a “wall”, but a “barrier” or something else. To this Trump replied,

“I’ll call it whatever they want, but it’s all the same thing.”

Trump argued that drug flows and human trafficking can only be stopped by a wall. And like preserving the sanctity of the citizen-vote, Trump issued a warning to Democrats. He alluded to the idea of declaring a national emergency to build the wall without legislative approval and said: ‘I still might.’

‘We can call a national emergency because of the security of our country. I haven’t done it. I may do it,’ he said.

That’s a statement of a man who knows how to negotiate.

He’s letting the other side know that he can do as he wishes. Democrats have NO choice but to give in, as Trump can build the wall with or without them.

In the past, this type of declaration might have been hollow. Because most Republicans wouldn’t want to deal with the fallout of such a decision. But Trump neutered the Leftist media. And he has a compelling case for the wall, whether fake news polls bare that our or not.

Democrats know the real polls. They don’t want Trump to get credit for comprehensive immigration reform, which would follow the wall. Trump has already begun addressing the other issues of immigration, like drugs, jobs, and so on. When he gets his wall, he will show America that Republicans are the party of practical compassion.

Just so we are clear, what Democrats fear most is Trump’s leadership. They fear his knack for solving problems. Bureaucrats set up DC not to solve problems, but to keep problems brewing. Why cure the disease, when you can keep treating the patient.

Trump cures the diseases in DC. And in the case of his wall, illegal immigration, and the bloated U.S. government, Trump says to Democrats: Bring it on!

So for now, Trump will let Democrats feel like they are winning, and call it a barrier or “whatever”. But when the time comes, Trump will call it what it is: a wall.
