Democrat Billionaire Warns Trump Can’t Be Beat

Mark Cuban is famous for many reasons. He’s the owner of the Dallas Mavericks and the Shark Tank billionaire investor. But he also made many headlines for his opinions of Donald Trump.

I’m not sure if he had a complete change of heart, but three years later, Cuban is standing firm behind his latest prediction.

The democrats don’t stand a chance against Trump. And Cuban says you can bank on that.

That’s according to Fox News’ Greg Gutfeld, who reacted to the billionaire businessman’s comments about the roster of 2020 hopefuls on the Democratic team.

“Nobody right now,” Cuban said when asked which candidate has the best chance of dashing the president’s re-election hopes.

“Politicians are the least trusted of every profession,” the owner of the NBA’s Dallas Mavericks told CNBC. “If you look at why people voted for Donald Trump, in my opinion, first and foremost it was because he wasn’t a politician.”

On “The Five,” Gutfeld agreed.

“Democrats don’t have their Trump. The thing is instead they have a 22-headed, 24-headed jack-in-the-box,” Gutfeld said.

“They all look the same. In the old days, we would say, ‘wow this is an impressive field, look at all these people’ but because of 2016 now we go, ‘there’s just way too many. I don’t know who they are.’

“It’s just a busload of talking heads, I don’t get it.”

Drain the Swamp

Clearly, Americans are sick of politicians. That’s why they voted Trump in. People don’t want the same Washington D.C. suits who’ve been on Capitol Hill for thirty years and accomplished nothing. And Joe Biden is the perfect example.

In fact, his own party called Biden out.

Yesterday, we brought you the latest edition of the Young and the Stupid, starring New York’s own Alexandrain Ocasio-Cortez. And although her Green New Deal will never see the light of day, Cortez makes a valid point about her colleagues.

“I will be damned if the same politicians who refused to act then are going to try to come back today and say we need to find a middle-of-the-road approach to save our lives. That is too much for me,” she said.

Oddly enough, Biden swung back- offering to put his record against his word to prove his accomplishments. Of course, that’s where the rest of our burst into hysterics, because in all the years I’ve known of Joe Biden, I’ve never come across a single article boasting one of his accomplishments, unless you count getting his barista’s phone number.

So there lies the problem for democrats heading into the election cycle. They can pick lazy old losers, or crazy new schmoozers. Either way, they’re screwed. Gutfield put it like this:

Do the Democrats go for that comfortable sweater in Biden, who feels like something that you are used to, or do you go for the jumpsuit that Evel Knievel wears when he went into the snake river canyon?” Gutfeld said.

Back to Cuban

There’s an interesting little tidbit about Mark Cuban. Deep inside, he’s really a Republican. Even though he identifies with leftists on social issues, Cuban prefers small, limited government. And, he makes no bones about it- he’d rather be a Republican than a democrat.

In 2015, Cuban pointed out an interesting problem with the Republican party.

As the Washington Post explains:

The Republicans have a much bigger problem that will crush them in every Presidential election until this changes.

The Republican Party requires that all their Presidential candidates Conform to Consensus.

If you don’t agree with every platform of the party not only are you called a RINO, a “Republican in Name Only. You are considered unelectable in primaries and become a source of scorn on Fox News

That’s a problem.

Leaders don’t conform to the consensus. They create consensus to their vision and goals.

Leaders don’t change their positions mid debate. They welcome scorn from the masses because it creates the opportunity for dialogue.

Leaders don’t look backwards to condemn what has already been done, they look forward to create a better future.

Leaders are not dogmatic. They are principled and know that change is never easy, but when it’s necessary, they must lead.

The Republican Party does everything possible to discourage leadership.

They want dogma.

[Republicans] want conformity.

They want to conserve their romanticized past.

That’s a shame. I wish they wanted to conserve the best of what America is today and find a leader that can take us to new places that make our future better.

Ironically, Donald Trump answered Cuban’s wish.

Trump leads despite the obstacles in his path, and he definitely does not conform to the consensus. In fact, Trump creates the consensus.

Clearly, Trump will crush 2020. So the question now is this- will it be Mark Cuban for 2024?
