MSNBC admitted their first of many mistakes regarding Trump.
Fake news is what Donald Trump called the networks when he ran for president. And he continued his truth about the media after defying the odds to become president.
During this period, Democrats searched far and wide for the person they felt could beat Donald Trump. And in a testament to how low they could go, networks lauded creepy porn lawyer Michael Avenatti.
During a 10-week period last spring, Avenatti appeared on cable news 147 times. 57 of those times he appeared on MSNBC, according to Newsbusters.
He appeared on MSNBC’s network seven times on a single day, specifically on May 3, 2018. And apparently Lawrence O’Donnell had a mancrush on Avenatti, hosting the disgraced Leftist attorney 16 times on “The Last Word with Lawrence O’Donnell.”
While I find MSNBC numbers mind-numbing, consider that CNN featured Avenatti 74 times during the same period.
With Avenatti’s third indictment this year, MSNBC’s showcasing of Avenatti now comes into question. According to The Daily Caller, the network tried to defend itself:
An MSNBC spokesperson defended how the network both worked with and covered disgraced celebrity lawyer Michael Avenatti, according to an op-ed published by the Washington Post Thursday.
Avenatti was indicted for the third time this year earlier this week for alleged fraud and aggravated identity theft related to his former adult film star Stephanie Clifford, who is professionally known as Stormy Daniels.

MSNBC’s prime time star Rachel Maddow expounded on the spokesperson’s comments to WaPo, adding, “When I interviewed Avenatti about the Kavanaugh accuser he represented, the news at that point was that women were coming forward with allegations of mistreatment by a nominee for the Supreme Court. That story was still developing, and would continue developing for days to come.”

Michael Avenatti represented Julie Swetnick, a woman who claimed to have witnessed Judge Kavanaugh participate in TEN GANG RAPES! Repeat: witnessed TEN GANG RAPES, supposedly arranged by Kavanaugh.
Obviously she was “traumatized” by these gang rapes, as she asked her date to keep taking her to them. I joked on my radio show, “You would think that after the third gang-rape Swetnick would have asked her date if they can just go see a movie or have dinner?!”.
At this point one would think Maddow’s journalistic curiosity would have kicked in. Perhaps she could have asked Swetnick or Avenatti something like, “Why did you attend ALL of these?” Better yet, “Where you the PARTY PLANNER?!”
Clearly, nothing was believable about the lying skank Kavanaugh accusers. Regardless, anybody who took Avenatti’s “Gloria Allredesque” representations seriously needed to have their voter card revoked. To believe Avenatti or his clients is to admit how stupid one is. Ironically, Democrats showcased their stupidity front and center in their zeal to promote the #MeToo farce.
Avenatti and his clients chase ambulances and lotteries. In their attacks on Trump, they found neither. Trump kicked their collective asses. Now Kavanaugh sits on the SCOTUS, and Daniels returns to stripping and other porn.
MSNBC host Stephanie Ruhle declared that Democrats could learn from Avenatti’s attacks on the president.
Learn what? How to get your ass kicked and ruin your career in a year?!
MSNBC searches for the Great White Hope. “Is there anybody who can defeat Trump”, they lament.
Short answer: nope.
The Democrat who can beat Trump hasn’t been born. And you can bet the media wants no bench when it comes to who will follow Donald Trump. But that’s a problem for 2024.
For now, MSNBC and other Leftist media learns that you can’t trust putting your eggs in any Democrat’s basket.
