AOC’s Latest Insult to America

AOC is destined to go down in history as New York’s dumbest congresswomen. Let’s just hope she’s a one term wonder.

The list of AOC blunders is longer than the Democrat roll of illegal voters. And it just keeps growing.

Just off the top of my head, here are some of her biggest offenses:

  • She thought the VA was doing an A+ Job.
  • AOC contends the FBI gives white terrorists a free pass, and only goes after colored terrorists.
  • Ocasio-Cortez ran from her 2020 opponent at a recent NY parade to avoid a debate.
  • She thinks Americans should trust the IRS to just do everyone’s taxes for them.
  • Cow farts. Need I say more?

Sadly, I could go on and on. And the woman hasn’t even been in office a full year yet. Of course, we’re speaking of a woman who honestly believes she gets her powers from her red lipstick and her hoop earrings when in fact the only power she holds came from the Justice DemocRATS. They backed her entire campaign and put her in office.

I’d give almost anything to be a fly on the wall of the Justice Democrats now. Surely they’re humiliated by their super-star after her latest display of ignorance.

Concentration Camps

Incredibly, the freshman congresswoman went on “The Five” to compare U.S. detention centers on the southern border to concentration camps reminiscent of Nazi Germany.

As Fox explains:

[AOC] made headlines with the shocking comment on Monday night, which she made during an Instagram Live broadcast. “That is exactly what they are. They are concentration camps,” Ocasio-Cortez said during the video.

“It was alarming and false equivalent of the unparalleled evils of what happened in the Holocaust,” co-host Dana Perino said.

Co-host Juan Williams called Ocasio-Cortez’s comments “poor choice” and “poor framing.”

[Ocasio-Cortez is] a member of Congress. We forget sometimes because she sounds like a bomb thrower… She can do something, she hasn’t sponsored one piece of legislation at all.

— Jesse Watters

Jesse Watters then chimed in, not only criticizing Ocasio-Cortez for her comments but also taking her to task for not offering any legislation to deal with the problem on the border with Mexico.

“She’s becoming more extreme because she’s running out of steam,” Watters said. “You never want to compare anything to the Holocaust that diminishes the genocide, it makes you look stupid.

Abolish ICE

Once again, democrats have no real solutions. They have sound bytes. Nothing more than lip service. And while they shout to end Trump’s tactics, liberals are not prepared to keep this country safe.

Fox continues:

The only thing she’s offered she wants to abolish ICE. She says global warming’s pushing the migrants north. And she says we’re running concentration camps. She’s a member of Congress. We forget sometimes because she sounds like a bomb thrower on cable. She can do something, she hasn’t sponsored one piece of legislation at all.”

Co-host Greg Gutfeld took the conversation further saying that Ocasio-Cortez diminished Border Patrol agents who work with migrants and that she should apologize for her remarks.

“And it’s so mean to the people who work with the people. The agents. I mean, are they concentration camp guards?” “The Greg Gutfeld Show” host asked.

AOC Stands by her Stupidity

Maybe AOC should start listening to country music. Kenny Rogers to be exact. He says, “You gotta know when to hold ’em, know when to fold ’em, know when to walk away and know when to run.”

AOC should’ve jumped ship the moment the misguided words flew off her lips, but she’s not smart enough to issue a statement of, “Oops, I did it again.”

Instead, in typical leftist fashion, AOC doubled down.

Fox elaborates:

In case you thought Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y. might back away from her decision to label U.S. migrant detention centers as concentration camps, she offered a fresh tweet on the issue Wednesday.

She specifically targeted what she called the U.S.’s “shameful history” of Japanese internment during World War II. “The US ran concentration camps before, when we rounded up Japanese people during WWII,” she said.

“It is such a shameful history that we largely ignore it,” she added. “These camps occur throughout history. Many refuse to learn from that shame, but here we are today. We have an obligation to end them.”

Her comments capped off a controversy that lasted all Tuesday with a long list of people, including members of congress, weighing in on her accusation that President Trump installed concentration camps at the border.

The New York congresswoman has insisted that concentration camps weren’t necessarily the death camps that the Nazis created during World War II.

She doubled down on Tuesday night when she called Acting Immigration and Customs Enforcement Director Mark Morgan someone who ran “concentration camp systems.”

Just Plain Wrong

This isn’t the first time AOC opened her mouth to say something completely untrue. And it won’t be the last. But this time, as Morgan put it, AOC’s rhetoric is “reckless, irresponsible, misinformed and wrong.”

“Those facilities are designed for adults, they’re not designed for families and kids and we’ve been saying that for a very, very long time. Congress could pass meaningful legislation that could end this tomorrow, so the irony is unbelievable here,” he said.

While Ocasio-Cortez has received support from people like House Judiciary Chairman Jerrold Nadler, D-N.Y., she faced criticism from conservatives like House GOP Conference Chairwoman Liz Cheney, R-Wyo., who suggested she disrespected Jews with her comparison.

“Please @AOC do us all a favor and spend just a few minutes learning some actual history. 6 million Jews were exterminated in the Holocaust. You demean their memory and disgrace yourself with comments like this,” Cheney tweeted on Tuesday.
