Democrats need new leadership. Watching any part of that debate clearly showed that Democrats are old and or have no new ideas.
But for the two oldest dudes at the club, the debate was a disaster.
Kamala Harris delivered the knock-out blow to Biden’s racist career, as she called him out for his friendships with segregationists. Harris personalized her attack, saying “I was that little girl”, alluding to the little black girl who was bused to a better school.
A slap in the face to anti-busing Biden, ergo anti-black Biden. Busing debate notwithstanding, Biden wasn’t prepared to fight back.
However, Biden wasn’t the only casualty of the debate. So was his equally old feeble socialist pal, Bernie Sanders.
Watching Sanders is like watching old man boxing. Actually, it’s like watching an old man ow the myard, angrily. Wearing Bermuda shorts and black socks, Sanders strives to keep the lines in the grass straight.
When Sanders speaks, you sense his desperation.
After all, he caved on his real shot to be president. Instead of defeating Hillary Clinton–his trajectory at the time–Sanders caved and took the money.
That’s not playing so well these days, as Millionaire Bernie the Socialist isn’t selling as well as Poor Man Bernie. So now Sanders looks for new angles.
As Fox News reported, Sanders has a novel idea for the SCOTUS:
After President Trump has been able to get two Supreme Court picks – Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh — placed on the nation’s highest court during his first term, some Democrats have floated the idea of expanding the court beyond nine justices if a Democrat wins the White House in 2020.
But Sen. Bernie Sanders, a top contender for the party’s 2020 nomination, said during Thursday’s debate in Miami that he has a different idea.
“I do not believe in packing the court,” Sanders said. “We’ve got a terrible 5-4 majority conservative court right now. But I do believe constitutionally we have the power to rotate judges to other courts and that brings in new blood into the Supreme Court and a majority I hope that will understand that a woman has a right to control her own body and that corporations cannot run the United States of America.”
Clearly, Democrats rightfully fear the court getting one more true Conservative. They complain about a 5-4 court, knowing that Bush-appointed Chief Justice Roberts sides with Leftists in the most important decisions.
Could Sanders get his wish? Perhaps. But first he must win, right? And that’s not going to happen.
If you watched the debate, you sensed the desperation of mediocre people, radicals all, vying for the spotlight.
Free gifts for everybody, including illegals. I’m not sure how Democrats believe this will play for Americans.
Even the low-information voter realizes that you can’t give everything away for free. Yet Democrats keep adding to the list. Free healthcare for all (including illegals), free college, free child care, free welfare…you get the picture.
Why not pay for gambling debts and bad investments?
And when Sanders “rotates the court”, he will have a judiciary who backs his nonsense and all will be good in America. Not.
I have to believe that most of Leftist America is on to Sanders and others like him. Promises undelivered. Democrats promise lots of “free”. To their credit, they’ve delivered some. But I think many now see through the ruse.
Democrats play a Ponzi scheme on America. Reparations for blacks that will never come in the form promised. For blacks paying attention, we realize that reparations have been paid to us multiple times. Affirmative Action and being a part of the greatest country in the world for opportunity for all.
We don’t need the SCOTUS rotated or anything “free”. We just need Democrats to leave us alone.
