Democrats may have a new old strategy or an old new one. Either way, it’s “Impeach Trump!”
The Party of Slavery needs a lifeline, so they want Trump impeached for pursuing crimes by Joe Biden.
And just like that, we’re back to Russian collusion.
As Warren so eloquently put it, “Congress failed to act, and now Donald Trump has shown he is, he believes he is above the law.”
Warren didn’t stop there. She also sent out a Twitter rant attacking the President.
Honestly, I’m a bit surprised her millennial followers had the patience to read through 5 whole threads in order to tie her rant together. Maybe they kept waiting to see something of substance, something new- but Warren offered neither.

Sen. Elizabeth Warren accused the U.S. Congress of complicity in President Donald Trump’s continued abuse of power late Friday, after reports surfaced of his alleged attempts to solicit foreign meddling in the 2020 presidential election, and reiterated her demand that Democrats use their majority in the House to pursue impeachment.
Warren’s tweeted statement came hours after the Wall Street Journal reported that Trump urged Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to investigate former Vice President Joe Biden’s opposition to a Ukrainian prosecutor in 2016.
Warren wrote that House Democrats should have promptly pursued impeachment after the release of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s report on Trump’s campaign, which outlined a number of instances in which the president obstructed justice during Mueller’s investigation—similar to the actions that led Congress to draft articles of impeachment against President Richard Nixon in 1974.
“By failing to act, Congress is complicit in Trump’s latest attempt to solicit foreign interference to aid him in U.S. elections,” Warren said. “Do your constitutional duty and impeach the president.”

Mitch McConnell is also complicit. The Senate must vote on the bill, already passed by the House, to help states and localities protect themselves from the foreign attacks on our elections that the President has previously welcomed.

In 1974, Democrats and Republicans united in support of impeachment not out of mutual contempt for Nixon but mutual respect for the rule of law. Congress refused to be complicit in future law-breaking by Nixon or other presidents. It’s time for this Congress to step up and act.

Campaign Boost
These cries for impeachment are quite boring. SO far, none of them experienced even a shred of success. In fact, just last month, democrats sponsored “impeachment August” in which they worked so hard to unravel Trump.
But the month came and went without a real move from the left- because at the end of the day, Democrats have nothing to stand on. If they did, they’d use it to their full advantage.
In fact, Pelosi shuts down impeachment talks every time they rise up because she knows one thing for sure. Democrats don’t have the steam it would take to battle Trump.

However, there is one benefit of the Impeach Trump battle cry! If you guessed free publicity, you got it.
According to The Hill:
Republican strategist Jack Kingston said Monday that Sen. Elizabeth Warren’s (D-Mass.) call for the House to begin impeachment proceedings against President Trump is politically beneficial for Trump.
“It’s great for us politically,” Kingston, a former senior adviser to the Trump campaign, told hosts Krystal Ball and Buck Sexton on “Rising.”
“Politically, it will help the president more than anything,” he continued. “People got what they need from the Mueller report. No collusion. No obstruction.”
“Now we can argue about it inside the Beltway on the fine print, but the truth is, most people checked it off their box.”
“Now the Democrats are kind of like [a] 4-year-old in the schoolyard saying ‘blah, blah, blah. I don’t want to hear it. I’m going to go after impeachment,’ ” Kingston added.
In other words, Trump isn’t begging these cries of impeachment to go away. Instead, he’s daring them to continue. Trump mastered the strategy of ‘spend less, be heard more’ during his first campaign.The more Democrats say the word Trump, the more he ends up in the media. And even if these loser lawyers claim to have dirt on the President, dems still don’t have a cohesive plan. Thus, they call the news, bring up collusion, can’t muster any proof, and then these little media lapdogs realize they’re chasing the wrong bones. It all sounds like a crash-and-burn waiting to happen.
Meanwhile, I can’t help but wonder- Just how many times can democrats survive Trump’s annihilation? Because if you’re sitting on the left, there’s no WIN in sight.
