Trump Kicks Poverty and Democrats Buttocks

Memo to Media: Americans know you are LYING SKANKS!

Check out how NPR reported on the spectacular drop in the poverty rate.

The U.S. poverty rate declined slightly last year, but finally fell below the 2007 level, right before the Great Recession pushed millions of Americans out of work and into financial distress.

The improving economy was a key factor in the decline. The U.S. Census Bureau noted in its annual report on income and poverty that there were 2.3 million more full-time, year-round workers last year and that median earnings for all such workers rose by more than three percent.

Amid these positive signs, the bureau reported separately that the number of people in the U.S. who did not have health insurance rose from 25.6 million people in 2017 to 27.5 million in 2018. That included 4.3 million children. Health advocacy groups called the increase extremely troubling and blamed declines in Medicaid coverage, especially for Hispanic children and children under the age of six.

Let me stop here for just a moment. Because I need to discuss the NPR pivot.

NPR went from discussing the poverty rate to lying about healthcare? But ok, I’ll play along.

How many of these uninsured actually went TO THE HOSPITAL?! What next? Will NPR report on the number of people who no longer get manicures?

Exactly how many “Hispanic children and children under the age of six” need drastic medical attention? Because NPR made certain that we understand the neglect of children, the least medically-needed in the country are getting their recommended daily allowance of ObamaSCARE!

NPR continues with more foreboding after the announcement of the substantial drop in poverty.

Despite the decline in poverty, the Census Bureau found that 38.1 million people in 2018 were poor. This was 1.4 million fewer poor people than in 2017, but about one in eight Americans still lived below the poverty line — $25,465 for a family with two adults and two children.

Holy shit. You mean President Trump didn’t eradicate poverty?! Wasn’t that one of his campaign promises? Or was that what “Hope and Change” Baby Black Jesus promised?

NPR goes on to downplay Trump stellar median household income numbers. They commented, “median household income last year was $63,179, not statistically different from the year before, but equal to the peak level reached in 1999.”

In other words, just more of the same…STELLAR TRUMP ECONOMY!

NPR quotes the White House, and then attempts to bitch-slap the administration:

The White House Council of Economic Advisers touted the new figures as a sign that President Trump’s economic policies are working.

“While Americans across the board generally saw improvements, the data show that in many cases those who had been forgotten in the past were lifted up the most,” the council said in a statement. Children and female-headed households saw some of the biggest declines in poverty.

But Elise Gould, a senior economist with the Economic Policy Institute, noted some disturbing trends. Although median household income rose for four consecutive years, the rate of growth and the income level has slowed significantly and is slightly below where it was almost two decades ago. “It’s a step in the right direction, but most families barely made up the ground lost” with the recession, she said.

And what makes Elise Gould so special? Absolutely nothing, except she’s a contrarian to the reality that poverty has dipped substantially under Trump.

She does this by essentially making Trump take on Obama’s mess. I quote:

“It’s a step in the right direction, but most families barely made up the ground lost”.

Allow me to finish this sentence for her: DURING THE OBAMA ERA.

And correct me if I’m wrong, but the implication is that “most families barely made up lost ground”?!

Finally, NPR went racial, explaining that the data showed “huge racial disparities in the figures.” So they reported that the median income for African-American households last year was $41,361, compared with $70,642 for white, non-Hispanic households. The poverty rate for blacks was almost 21 percent compared to about 8 percent for non-Hispanic whites.

And?

What was it before? What was it under Obama?

—-Poverty rates for the black community under Obama have risen from 25.8% to 27.2%.

—-Black net worth has fallen 34% under Obama, hispanic net worth has fallen 14%, and white net worth has risen 2.4%

—-The labor participation rate for the black community is at an all time high since this statistic came into existence.

—-Under Obama blacks on food stamps has risen 58.2%.

—-Under Obama black home ownership has fallen from 46.1% to 41.9%.

Not exactly stats to write “The Motherland” about.

NPR, remember that American taxpayers pay your bills. And the man in charge is not the idiot in office from 2008 to 2016.
