As President Trump says, “We didn’t start a war, we responded to a war!” Now Iran feels the impact of a president who actually fights for America and the rest of the world.
So Phase II of America’s war with Iran begins. Phase I began the day President Trump took over for the feckless Obama. President Trump immediately responded to the existing war on terror with Iran by attacking their economy.
Sanctions and more sanctions. Even when Iran shot down our drone, President Trump withheld military action and issued sanctions. The economic attack put Iran’s economy in freefall.
Now Iran finds itself in the same situation as America’s Party of Lynching of Negroes. Iran backed itself into a corner by continuing its bad behaviors. Trump responded with a military sanctions, as in sending a few well-placed missiles up the ayatollahs’ buttocks.
As we now know, U.S. forces killed Qassem Soleimani, leader of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps’ (IRGC) Qod’s Force–a designated terrorist organization. Soleimani was taken out in an airstrike in Baghdad as he was traveling to Baghdad International Airport. Also killed in the strike was top Iraqi paramilitary commander Abu Mahdi al-Mohandes, who headed the Iranian-linked Popular Mobilization Forces.
Phase II over. So what’s next?
Iran threatened America. Supposedly Iran has operatives inside America waiting for instructions. No surprise there, given the “leadership” of Obama–the man who gave the Iranians over $100 billion to restart their terror machine.
Because of Obama’s legacy of funding terror, America must raise its alert levels. And whatever terror comes from the Iranians and their terrorist friends, Obama is to blame. But don’t think the U.S. doesn’t have a plan.
President Trump is the anti-Obama. Trump has a plan and that plan has been developing from Day One of his presidency. Now that the gloves are off, America may go on the offensive.
Some believe Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Lindsey Graham tipped our hand. He tweeted,
“I appreciate President @realDonaldTrump’s bold action against Iranian aggression. To the Iranian government: if you want more, you will get more”
“If Iranian aggression continues and I worked at an Iranian oil refinery, I would think about a new career.”
Frankly, I marvel at Graham’s transformation. He’s gone from being one of America’s biggest RINOs to being as pro-Trump as they come.
In another tweet, Graham showed even more pride in Trump’s actions:
“Wow – the price of killing and injuring Americans has just gone up drastically. Major blow to Iranian regime that has American blood on its hands. Soleimani was one of the most ruthless and vicious members of the Ayatollah’s regime. He had American blood on his hands.”
Graham isn’t the only convert, as Trump has millions. And it’s not just Americans.
Iran has one choice in all of this. Beg President Trump for forgiveness.
Because if they believe Trump has been tough on them to date, they have no idea what else the leader of the free (and not free) world can dish out.
