Finally! We can get this show on the road. As foolish Nancy Pelosi and her fancy pens finally sent the articles of impeachment up to the Senate.
And you can bet Trump won’t be there with some second-rate lawyer like Michael Avenatti. Instead, Trump’s assembled a dream team.
In fact, Ken Starr is first up to bat. Starr led the Whitewater investigation that plagued the Clinton’s in the mid-90s. Next up, we have Alan Dershowitz. He’s a noted civil libertarian. Also, Dershowitz is considered a scholar of constitutional law. According to Dershowitz, he decided to join forces to protect the sanctity of our constitution.
Clearly, Trump assembled a dream team. And they’ll be prepared to tackled any dirty tricks Democrats bring to the impeachment hearings.

The team will also include former Florida attorney general Pam Bondi, former federal prosecutor Robert Ray and Jane Raskin, who was part of the president’s legal team during former Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia probe. Both Starr and Dershowitz are former Fox News contributors.
Fox News reported earlier this week that White House Counsel Pat Cipollone will take the lead on the president’s defense team in the Senate trial, along with Trump lawyer Jay Sekulow. Cipollone deputies Michael Purpura and Patrick Philbin will also work on the team.
Dershowitz confirmed his role in a series of tweets on Friday, saying he would “present oral arguments at the Senate trial to address the constitutional arguments against impeachment and removal.”
Adam Schiff and Jerry Nadler won’t be able to manage to wipe their own asses once this team gets through with them.

The name “Ken Starr” must’ve stirred up a few emotions for Monica Lewinsky. I get it, the whole Clinton-blue-dress scandal ruined her life. She will forever be known as the blow job under the desk girl. It’s a sad existence.
If it weren’t for her role in Clinton’s impeachment hearing, no one would even know her name. But now she feels the need to chime in on Starr’s new role.

Back to Impeachment
Democrats still pretend they hold a wild card. Of course, Adam Schiff once claimed he had proof of the Russian collusion.
Maybe Schiff needs a warning. Because perjury is a “High Crime,” as is suborning perjury, both of which are actual impeachable offenses under the Constitution. Democrats continually commit this crime. In fact, the past 30 years, the Clintons have covered their crimes and evaded prosecution.
But now, we begin our impeachment process. Truthfully, the Senate should just acquit. Even some Democrats now speak out against impeachment.
Recently, Congresswoman Brenda Lawrence flipped her stance on impeachment. “You can censure, you don’t have to remove the president,” Lawrence said Sunday on No BS News Hour with Charlie LeDuff. “Sitting here, knowing how divided this country is, I don’t see the value of kicking him out of office, but I do see the value of putting down a marker saying his behavior is not acceptable.”
But honestly, going through the trial will have an even greater impact. Because at the end of the day, Pelosi won’t have Trump’s head on a platter. Instead, Trump will have 2020 in his pocket.
