Could it be more obvious as Democrats plot to keep Joe Biden out of public view? That’s a rhetorical question, because that’s their obvious ploy.
And who can blame them? Biden is “brain-dead man walking”. Now the game of hide-and-seek begins, as House Majority Whip Rep. Jim Clyburn (D-SC) asked for Biden to go into “witless protection”.
Clyburn suggested the Democratic National Committee (DNC) cancel the remaining 2020 primaries and debates. In Clyburn’s words, the Democrats need to protect Biden from saying something that might “get [Biden] in trouble].
Clyburn commented to NPR,
“I think when the night is over, Joe Biden will be the prohibitive favorite to win the Democratic nomination, and quite frankly, if the night ends the way it has begun, I think it is time for us to shut this primary down, it is time for us to cancel the rest of these debates — because you don’t do anything but get yourself in trouble if you continue in this contest when it’s obvious that the numbers will not shake out for you.”
As I’ve tweeted and otherwise opined, Democrats know Biden is damaged goods.
Biden may have moments of clarity, but his brain function has diminished. Democrat shirk responsibility by ignoring the obvious. This latest maneuver only reinforces what the public knows.
Understand the Democrats knowingly select a brain-damaged person as their candidate for president. How sick is this?
If Biden were to become president, he would have complete access to secrets and the nuclear “football”. Who knows what this clown would do in a moment of lapse? Actually, we know what Biden would do, because he shows us almost daily.
Thankfully, Biden has no chance at being president. Democrats can hide him from Bernie Sanders, but they can’t hide him from President Trump.
Prior to meeting Trump at a debate, Biden must travel the gauntlet of a press corps that now waits for his next mistake. No longer are Bidenisms considered “gaffes”. Instead each offers a career-ending potential.
As for Clyburn’s part in this melodrama, he vouched for Biden. Clyburn may be the reason Biden won South Carolina, thus changing his fortunes. So Biden is Clyburn’s cross to bear, his albatross.
To paraphrase the song: “He ain’t heavy, he’s my brain-dead brother”.
