President Trump ended the Democrat narrative of xenophobia. Now he’s keeping out the white people.
Well Canadians are mostly white. And his latest move limits people coming from Canada.
In fact, the President tweeted his decision.
We will be, by mutual consent, temporarily closing our Northern Border with Canada to non-essential traffic. Trade will not be affected. Details to follow!

And I’m sure leftists will be saddened to learn there was no drama in this decision. Because President Trump and Prime Minister Justin Trudeau agreed a temporary closure is in the best interest of both nations.
Thus, CNBC reports with very little fanfare:
Canada’s prime minister Justin Trudeau, at a press conference in Ottawa, said “I just spoke to President Trump again this morning, and we have agreed that both Canada and the United States will temporarily restrict all non-essential travel across the Canada-U.S. border.”
“Travelers will no longer be permitted to cross the border for recreation and tourism. In both our countries, we’re encouraging people to stay home,” Trudeau said.
“We’re telling our citizens not to visit their neighbors unless they absolutely have to. Well, this colloborative and reciprocal measure is an extension of that prudent approach.”
Trudeau emphasized that “essential travel will continue.”
That, he said, includes Americans and Canadians crossing the border to do “essential work and for other urgent reasons.”
“Our governments recognize that we preserve supply chains between both countries,” he said.
“These supply chains ensure that food, fuel and life-saving medicines reach people on both sides of the border. Supply chains including trucking will not be affected by this new measure.”
Funny, I didn’t hear many cries that Trudeau is racist. Yet, he’s closing Canadian borders. I wonder why these actions are only tagged as racist when they’re carried out by Donald Trump.
Bad Timing
If you think about it, these closed borders come at a bad time. Clearly, we’re inching towards a huge election. And it doesn’t look good for the left. As such, Democrats have one trick left: flood the country with illegals. And then register them to vote.
In fact, Democrats have been preparing to pad their rosters for years.
Kevin Jackson tackled this liberal strategy during the 2018 midterms. As Jackson wrote:
Democrats have made it clear that they want illegals to infest the United States. Further they want illegals to have voting rights, the most precious of all rights of a citizen.
Some Democrats unabashedly run on a platform that would abolish the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency, which would end all immigration enforcement across the United States. However others running for re-election in the 2018 midterms camouflage their real views.
This, according to a four-page memorandum from John Podesta’s Center for American Progress think tank obtained by the NYT.
The strategists warn in the memo that most Americans agree with Trump on the immigration.
The authors advised Democrats to spend “as little time as possible” addressing sanctuary cities, the party’s open border policies and the illegal immigration, policies that annually allow over 1.5 million immigrants to the country.
Oddly enough, the left doesn’t have as much support as they think. Jackson went on to tell us:
Nearly 2-out-3 voters supported reducing illegal immigration levels to the U.S, according to an April Harvard/Harris Poll. In another poll in May, we learned that fifty-two percent of swing voters opposed allowing big businesses to import more foreign workers to compete against their fellow citizens for coveted blue-collar and white-collar jobs.
Take all this and apply it to the COV-19 pandemic and one thing quickly comes into focus. The panic created by the left will backfire. It will leave liberals without enough illegals to boost their numbers. Their chances were already slim. Now, I’d say leftist’s chances of victory are just slightly above zero. And that’s being generous.
