Not too long ago I wrote of Joe “Fingers” Biden’s issue with Tara Reade. And since then, things have deteriorated for Biden. Bad.
I commented that the Biden campaign finally had to confront the issue of Tara Reade. At least on the periphery, because Reade’s story keeps gaining credibility.
Creepy Joey Fingers Biden can’t run from Tara Reade. Not that President Trump needs the help in beating the Democrats’ new loser, circa 2020.
Unlike lying skank Blasey-Ford, Reade is legit. The real deal. So now Biden and team are forced to address the issue.
According to Buzzfeed, the Biden campaign is circulating talking points regarding the sexual assault allegations made by Reade.
So, talking points were issued and followed by the media. Up to the point of my story, Biden had not said anything himself. Only the campaign commented on the issue; because Biden commenting would be beneath him. From the campaign:
Vice President Biden has dedicated his public life to changing the culture and the laws around violence against women. He authored and fought for the passage and reauthorization of the landmark Violence Against Women Act. He firmly believes that women have a right to be heard — and heard respectfully. Such claims should also be diligently reviewed by an independent press. What is clear about this claim: it is untrue. This absolutely did not happen.
Well, that strategy failed.
The media talking points didn’t make Tara Reade go away. So less than a day later, “Fingers” publicly confronted the issue he has avoided for weeks.
The Daily Caller tweeted a video appearance of Biden’s personal and public denial:

Joe Biden: "No. It is not true. I’m saying unequivocally it never happened."
"Do you remember her? Do you remember any types of complaints she might have made?"

In the interview, Biden is asked directly about the allegations:
“Did you sexually assault Tara Reade”
Joe Biden: “No. It is not true. I’m saying unequivocally it never happened.”
“Do you remember her? Do you remember any types of complaints she might have made?”
Joe Biden: “I don’t remember any type of complaint she may have made.”
By offering his personal rebuttal, Old Joe really stepped into Tara Reade’s “perjury trap”. Game on.
First, Biden claims not to remember Reade’s complaints. Nice try, Captain Demento. But Biden’s dementia won’t get him out of this one. Because long-term memory is less affected. Worse for Biden, this is not the time to play the “I don’t remember” card, as he is already suspect for “diminished capacity”.
Second, and undoubtedly more hurtful to Biden, are his Senate records. Those records reside at the University of Delaware as part of Biden’s Senate record. And Biden won’t allow the release of the records. For a guy who claimed in the past that a woman should be believed and allegations investigated, this doesn’t bode well for his future.
And that brings me to the third point: Biden commented in the past about sexual abuse allegations related to others. And his comments have come back to haunt him:

Perhaps Biden now wishes to walk back his comment, “The woman should be given the benefit of the doubt”? But what about getting the FBI to investigate?
Think Biden wants President Trump’s new and improved, non-swampy version of the FBI to investigate Reade’s allegations? That investigation won’t take long. Because, Reade has presented compelling evidence to validate what we already know about Creepy Uncle Joe.
I love imagining how Leftists, and particularly Leftists feminists, now take the news of their Dearly Demented. Prominent #MeToo women abandoned Biden. However, many other claim they will hold their noses as they cast their votes for Joey Fingers.
A split definitely exists. And Joey Fingers didn’t help himself by making his public proclamation. Because now Tara Reade is officially credible.
