It was a “set up!” That’s what Speaker Nancy Pelosi said when caught red-handed. Does that remind you of anybody?

By late 1989, federal officials had been investigating Barry on suspicion of illegal drug possession and use. Several of Barry’s associates faced prosecution for cocaine use that fall. One friend, Charles Lewis, was implicated in a drug investigation involving Barry and a room at Washington’s Ramada Inn in December, 1988.
On January 18, 1990, the FBI and D.C. police captured Barry on a surveillance camera smoking crack cocaine during a joint sting operation. Barry was arrested with a former girlfriend, Hazel Diane “Rasheeda” Moore at the Vista International Hotel.
Moore worked as an FBI informant when she invited Barry to the hotel room and insisted that he smoke freebase cocaine before they had sex. Agents in the other room watched on camera and waited for Barry to accept her offer.
During the videotaped arrest, Barry is heard saying of Moore, “Bitch set me up…I shouldn’t have come up here…goddamn bitch”.
Pelosi’s Marion Barry moment
Nancy Pelosi now offers America her “Marion Barry” moment, as she claims a set up. As The Hill reported:
Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said on Wednesday that she was “set up” by a San Francisco hair salon that said it could accommodate her for an indoor appointment Monday despite citywide restrictions on salon services.
Pelosi caught on camera like her deceased contemporary. Except, Pelosi’s drug of choice? Vanity. So, one can only imagine the undercover footage we would have if we monitored the office where Pelosi gets her Botox treatment?
The Hill article discusses Pelosi’s excuse for falling for the “set up”:
Pelosi said that she was told by eSalon that it was allowed to have one customer at a time inside its establishment. But salons in San Francisco have been closed since the coronavirus pandemic began and only allowed to begin providing services outdoors on Tuesday under the city’s guidelines.
“I take responsibility for trusting the word of a neighborhood salon that I’ve been to over the years many times, and that when they said that we’re able to accommodate people one person at a time and that we could set up that time, I trusted that. As it turns out, it was a set up. So I take responsibility for falling for the set up,” Pelosi said at a press conference in San Francisco.
Note how Leftists “take responsibility”. Pelosi doesn’t blame herself for breaking the rule. Instead, “It’s that bitch’s fault!”.
Undoubtedly, had Pelosi smoked crack in that salon, you can bet she would be blaming her dealer! It’s not her fault that the drug dealer brought the drugs she ordered to her!
In case Leftists miss the point, understand that Democrats apologize for nothing. Clearly Pelosi is at fault.
But admitting guilt is not in a Democrats’ DNA. And Pelosi proved this when a reporter at the press conference suggested that Pelosi might owe the salon owner an apology.
“Well, I don’t. I think that this salon owes me an apology for setting up,” Pelosi responded.
“I have been inundated by people who are in the hair service industry, saying, thank you for calling attention to this. We need to get back to work,” Pelosi added. “Many of them annoyed at the set up.”
Does anybody believe this blatant lie? Inundated by people who are in the hair service industry? Seriously?!
So let’s thank Donald Trump and the Chinese Wuflu for showcasing more Democrats’ elitist hypocrisy. It will come in quite handy November 3rd.
